The coronavirus, or COVID-19, has impacted daily life of people around the globe, in the United States, and in our Charter Senior Living communities. We are acutely aware of and completely understand the anxiety and concern COVID-19 is causing in our communities. We assure you we are maintaining vigilance and are taking all possible precautions and following the strictest possible measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and employees in response to this pandemic. We review our protocols daily and refine as necessary.

We encourage you to contact your local Charter Senior Living community for updates on how we are responding to COVID-19, including any changes to our operations and visitor restrictions.

While we know families may have questions and concerns related to the coronavirus, a Charter community is one of the best – and safest – places a senior can be right now.

Our residents’ families take comfort knowing their loved ones’ health and safety are our top priorities. We are strictly enforcing all CDC-recommended virus-prevention protocols and are well trained and prepared to care for residents and minimize risk of exposure to even new illnesses like the coronavirus.

Charter communities are highly controlled environments with teams dedicated to ensuring all areas of the communities are frequently sanitized and safe.

Enhanced Sanitation.
Utilizing Binary Ionization Technology, (BIT) We are able to disinfect, deodorize and sanitize both small and large areas throughout the community that is safe for associates and residents while eliminating bacteria and viral pathogens.

Dedicated Teams.
Our teams of wellness and safety professionals monitor and care for residents around the clock, allowing residents to remain safe and comfortable in their familiar homes with familiar faces.

Testing.
All communities have access to immediate testing for residents and associates.
